The Concord School District has the following vacancy for the 2019-2020 school year:
Join our outstanding middle school team as the Director of Special Education for Rundlett
Middle School. Our middle school community is an outstanding, collaborative workplace with
over 150 students identified as having educational disabilities in a school with 950 students in
grades six through eight.

Responsibilities include supervision and evaluation of all special education programs, professional
and paraprofessional staff. Maintain the system of special education services for the middle school
in compliance with district, state and federal special education policies and laws. The candidate
represents the school and school district at various meetings as well as creates and oversees the
special education departmental budget.

Prefer a minimum of 3 years of experience in a special education-related role with responsibilities
that include coordination of special services in addition to classroom support or case management;
minimum of a Master’s degree in a Special Education-related field by completion of plan with
college coursework in educational leadership.

Special Education Administrator Certification Required Start Date: August 1, 2019
Annual salary range: $99,148 – $107,769 (plus educational incentives); Excellent benefit package.
